The new Islamic State of West African Province, ISWAP and Boko Haram terrorist coalition recently announced have imposed taxes and levies on Borno state communities as part of the regulation of trade and agricultural activities.
The terrorists group also appointed Abu Musa Al Barnawi, son of Mohammed Yusuf the Boko Haram founder, as governor of Borno state.
ISWAP members will henceforth collect N5,000 monthly from traders and farmers; fishermen will pay N2,000 per bag of fish, among other levies.
Remember, this is happening under a Military General, President Mohammadu Buhari, with no outrage from any citizen. All Borno state Activists and Northern politicians who were very vocal during former President Goodluck Jonathan time in office are nowhere to be found.
